- Important Moment: Butterfly is lost and has a long way to travel to find the other butterflies. The text and illustrations show that Butterfly is nervous and not sure they will make it.
- Ask and Share: What problem does Butterfly have? How is Butterfly feeling? How can you tell? How do you feel when you have a tough problem to solve?

- Important Moment: Whale tells Butterfly, “Don’t give up! Keep trying.”
